Philosophy

WE BELIEVE FITNESS SHOULD BE FUN!

Our gym began with one simple idea – if a person is going to workout on a regular basis, then the workout has to be fun, challenging, and free of pressure, in an environment that is supportive and relaxed. We knew that if people had to DRAG themselves to the gym at the end of the day, they wouldn’t come. So we set out to make InsideOut a place that was fun and inviting.

We believe that most people want to feel comfortable when they’re at the gym without worrying about who’s looking at who, what they have to wear, and certainly without worrying about having to get in shape before they join.

After more than 11 years in business, our membership has grown steadily, and we continue to evolve. Our creative vision and innovative ideas in the world of fitness continue to get noticed. We have been recognized and commended for our progressive fitness programs by more than 10 local newspapers and television and radio stations. That means that our members continue to get the most innovative classes and workouts that we can find. This year, in the March 2007 issue of Men's Health, we were recognized nationally once again as one of the top two health clubs in Memphis.

As a member of InsideOut, you’ll experience the best new programs in fitness on a regular basis, and we don’t bore you with what you don’t like. We believe in total health and fitness (body, mind, and spirit), but we do it in an old fashioned way - with hard work. We greet our members by name, and we promote honest fitness by helping people set realistic goals and work hard to achieve them. No quick fixes. No fast talking.

InsideOut is the right gym for you. For years, people have believed that they had to get in shape before they joined the gym. But that's not the case at InsideOut. We believe it's our job to TEACH our members how to work out in the most effective way. Our classes are designed to accommodate everyone from beginners to the most advanced.

Plus the environment at InsideOut is friendly and welcoming. Get yourself in the door and you'll be amazed at the spirit inside the gym. We're just plain not like the rest of the bunch. We have programs and classes that anyone can take regardless of fitness level, and our staff goes above and beyond when it comes to helping beginners, folks who want to lose weight, or people who are training to reach a specific goal.
